PRODUCT FEATURESThe Machete 4S 1/6 Scale 4WD Brushless Electric Monster Truck is big, bad, and ready to slice up the competition. The Machete replaces the popular 1/6 Scale Shredder, but it’s not just a beefed up Shredder, it’s a completely new vehicle.
You’ve been asking for updates to the Shredder and we’ve delivered. Our team has been working hard to revise the Shredder, but we’ve ultimately decided that the best approach was to create a brand new design from scratch. The goal was to create a vehicle that could outperform the Shredder. This new design had to be stable, fun to drive, easy to control and durable. The result is the Machete, a 1/6 scale 4WD monster truck. The ready-to-run Machete 4S comes pre-assembled and does not include a battery or charger, allowing you to use your favorite batteries and chargers.
The Machete 4S includes a 4mm gunmetal laser etched anodized aluminum chassis, a Hobbywing MAX10 SCT RTR 120A ESC with an XT90 connector and a 3674 brushless motor with a heat sink and cooling fan. Three high performance oil-filled differentials provide ultra-smooth handling and stability. Each differential can be fine tuned with different viscosity oils to alter handling. Thicker oil in the center diff provides a wild ride, making it easier to air out the front wheels, while thinner oil provides more stability and additional control during cornering, for race inspired performance. The Machete 4S comes with a cab forward body design that is complete with hard plastic skid plates and body armor to protect it from damage. The aggressive looking body is made from a flexible polycarbonate material that is proven to hold up well in the summer heat, as well as the winter chill. The Machete also includes a wing and wheelie bar for added stability, allowing for greater control and maneuverability.
The Machete 4S is built for worry-free fun and includes a heavy duty 4WD powertrain with beefy gears and CVA axles front and rear. High strength plastics are used throughout the chassis and both the shock towers and lower A-arms have been engineered with captured shock end mounts. Large bore, oil filled, coil over shocks soak up the terrain so you can stay on the throttle. The shocks, along with several other machined aluminum parts, have been anodized in a rich red color for a super trick look. The Machete’s all terrain directional tires are soft enough to grab traction wherever it can be found, yet firm enough to provide good wear characteristics.
While the Machete is a replacement for the Shredder, it is a completely new vehicle. We've listened to your requests and created a vehicle that not only meets, but exceeds expectations.
